  • More than 48 hours before visit: Full refund available (if applicable)
  • 24-48 hours before visit: Partial refund or credit may be available
  • Less than 24 hours before visit: No refund available
  • No-show: No refund available

2.3 Processing Time

Refund processing may take 5-10 business days from the date of cancellation approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking, if applicable.

3. Change Policy

3.1 Date and Time Changes

Changes to your visit date or time may be possible, subject to availability. Change requests must be made at least 48 hours before your original scheduled visit.

3.2 Ticket Type Changes

Changes to ticket quantities or types may be accommodated, subject to availability. Additional charges or refunds will be calculated based on the difference in ticket pricing.

3.3 Change Fees

Administrative fees may apply for changes made to bookings. The museum reserves the right to charge reasonable fees for processing change requests.

4.1 Eligible Refunds

Refunds may be available in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation within the specified timeframes (see Section 2.2)
  • Museum closure or cancellation of services due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Technical errors in the booking system resulting in incorrect charges
  • Duplicate bookings made due to system errors

4.2 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled visit
  • No-show on the scheduled visit date
  • Visitors refused entry due to non-compliance with museum rules or policies
  • Change of mind after booking (unless within the cancellation timeframe)
  • Weather-related issues (unless the museum is closed)
  • Personal circumstances preventing attendance

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Museum Closures

If the Louvre Museum is closed on your scheduled visit date due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, security concerns, maintenance, etc.), you will be eligible for a full refund or the option to reschedule your visit at no additional charge.

5.2 Medical Emergencies

In cases of documented medical emergencies, we may consider refund or rescheduling requests on a case-by-case basis. Medical documentation may be required.

5.3 Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes), refunds or alternative arrangements will be handled according to the specific circumstances and applicable laws.

6. Free Admission Tickets

Tickets obtained through free admission programs (e.g., visitors under 18, EU residents under 26 on Fridays) are non-refundable as no payment was made. However, if you are unable to attend, please contact us to cancel your booking so that the time slot can be made available to other visitors.

7. Group Bookings

Special cancellation and refund terms may apply to group bookings (10 or more tickets). Please refer to your group booking confirmation or contact the group booking office for specific terms and conditions.

Once your refund request is approved:

  • The timing of refund receipt depends on your bank or payment provider
